Driving Instructor Training
Becoming a Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor is both rewarding and challenging.
Once you have registered with the DVSA and obtained an up to date DBS check we can help you through the process of becoming qualified and getting on the road.
First things first!
We'll get together and have a chat about what is required. The next step is to have an informal driving assessment and we'll also ask you to try instructing us on a basic task. Of course there will be issues as you're not yet trained but it will give you an idea of what's involved and if you enjoy it we can all move forward.
There are three qualifying exams.
- Part One - Theory Test
- Part Two - Driving Test
- Part Three - Test of Instructional Ability
We will help you along every step of the way with both handbooks and computerised information.
We offer all of our help on a pay as you go scheme so there is no large layout and you can train at your own pace.
All of the 'in car' training will be in a modern dual controlled vehicle that will also be available for you to use on test.
During the qualification process, we will offer advice and guidance on how to get your business as a driving instructor going and if there is a vacancy, may even offer you a franchise opportunity.
If all of this sounds attractive to you and you wish to book an assessment, just get in touch.
Even if you're unsure and have some questions, let's have a chat.
